Energy Efficiency Grants

Energy Efficiency Grants are available for electrical energy efficiency improvements. Examples of successful grants are for lighting, milk cooling and variable speed drives. Contact the Runestone Electric Member Services department for more details

Lee and Pam Tangen of Starbuck utilize a plate cooler to cool milk before it enters their bulk tank. The Tangen's received an Energy Conservation Grant from Runestone Electric to upgrade the efficiency of their milking operation.
