A geothermal heat pump functions just like other types of heat pumps, using a refrigeration cycle to move heat between the indoors and outdoors. Instead of moving heat to and from outdoor air, a geothermal heat pump uses the earth. Geothermal heat pumps can heat and cool your home or business and heat domestic water. These units will achieve at least 300% efficiency all winter long!
